SARANG REMPAH was founded as a specialist in bulk vanilla supply business after our founder successfully spent several years as a vanilla farmer in Aceh province. During their time as farmers they were deeply involved in the agricultural trade and regularly attended agricultural auctions in the heart of Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. Indonesia is the second largest producer of vanilla in the world and during attending agricultural auctions they were introduced to some of the main vanilla growers in the region.

After making extensive trips across the archipelago to investigate these vanilla plantations, several were found where the vanilla is of very high quality, pesticide free and grown organically without artificial fertilizers. Agreements negotiated with these plantations confirm the guaranteed continuous supply of some of the highest quality vanilla being produced.

In late 2016 the founders returned to ACEH province to set up a dedicated vanilla distribution office and warehouse facility. SARANG REMPAH has managed to keep growing every year by providing our customers with high quality vanilla products at competitive prices combined with a professional level of service. In 2017, after establishing ourselves as the premier bulk vanilla supply business in Australia, we expanded our business internationally to Asia, Europe, the UK and the US.
